HOTI creates stylish and artistic handmade jewellery and accessories from natural and sustainable materials. HOTI began in 2003, when founder Faythe Pal saw a lack of removable hemp jewellery made to last and look stylish. She believed there was great potential for mixed media fashion jewellery incorporating hemp. With a love of fashion and a strong background in jewellery design, Faythe created diverse lines that quickly sold through in boutiques and hemp stores throughout Ontario. HOTI products are still handmade in Toronto, Canada with high quality, natural materials and artisanal techniques that include beading, hemping and wood-burning. HOTI offers over 400 product designs to date. HOTI’s 2012 collection features bold use of colour and ventures into new media such as stones, gems, pewter, silver, glass and Swarovski crystals.
